Rose bush

There's an abundance of sweet-scented roses which blossom every summer and autumn. This hardy Rose bush will happily grow in a sunny spot in any garden or in an outdoor pot for its lifetime.

When you place your order a beautiful Rose bush, (total height 30cm+) botanical name: Rosa polyanthas, will be freshly selected by our devoted gardeners here, before being carefully gift wrapped.

A card with your personal message, the story of the Rose's ancient symbolism and a full care guide is also enclosed with your gift. Add a personalised brass heart, star or plaque (see images) engraved with your message so this special gift is always remembered.

This deciduous plant naturally sheds its leaves every autumn and will remain in its dormant phase all winter. Fresh, new leaves will grow in spring and it’s well worth the wait. Read more about deciduous trees here.

In ancient mythology the Rose is treasured as a symbol of love and adoration.

This Rose is 40cm+ high, it is quite happy to be lightly pruned in winter and may reach a height of 1 metres in 5 years, if allowed to grow naturally.

We have added organic nutrients to your Rose’s compost to create the perfect balance of nourishment. This organic goodness will release into the soil for several months to ensure your Rose continues to flourish.

Plant your Rose bush, still in its organic pot, in a large flower pot (one with holes so excess water can drain away) or in a sunny spot in the garden.

The Present Tree's Organic Plant Care Kit is packed with all the health-boosting goodness suitable for your new bush. Click here for more details.
