Hibiscus

This beautifully wrapped Hibiscus is loved for its stunning yellow blossoms and glossy, evergreen leaves. The flowers' petals are edible and can be made into a delicious herbal tea!

The Hibiscus is a tropical plant which will thrive in a cool, bright room in temperatures 10-25C. It can also be placed outside in warm, sunny weather.

When you place your order a beautiful Hibiscus, botanical name: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, will be freshly selected by our devoted gardeners and gift wrapped by hand.

A card with your personal message, the story of your plant's ancient symbolism and a full care guide is also enclosed with your gift.

This Hibiscus arrives beautifully presented in its gift parcel which opens to reveal a lush green plant with stunning flower buds and blossoms ready to bring joy to the recipient. It is super easy to grow and will thrive indoors all year and outdoors in sunny weather.

In ancient mythology the Hibiscus is treasured as a symbol of divine energy, grace and compassion.

Please remove all the wrapping and place your Hibiscus in a bright, sunny spot. It may grow in its organic pot for several weeks until you are ready to plant it.

Your Hibiscus will appreciate being lightly watered when the soil is dry and a daily water mist spray on its leaves. Never stand it in a saucer of water, as the tender roots may suffocate if they are constantly wet.

This plant's compost has been enriched with organic nutrients so it will thrive in its new home. In a few months it will be time to add more nourishment, especially when it is flowering.

Plant your Hibiscus in a pot 25-30cm wide, with clear holes for drainage and top up with an organic compost.

This Hibiscus enjoys being snipped into shape and may reach 1-2m high in 5 years, if allowed to grow naturally.

The Present Tree's Organic Gift Hamper is packed with all the health-boosting goodness suitable for your new plant.
