When you place your order a Pear tree, botanical name: Pyrus communis, will be freshly selected by our devoted gardeners here, before being hand wrapped and placed in its parcel.
It will happily grow in any garden and is wonderful for wildlife, especially birds and bees. This Pear tree is 30-35cm high, it is quite happy to be lightly pruned in early autumn and will reach a height of 3 metres in 10 years, if allowed to grow naturally.

Place your tree outside, in its natural environment, even in chilly winter. In a few weeks, plant your tree, still in its organic pot so the roots are not disturbed, in a large flower pot (one with holes so water can drain away) or in a sunny spot in the garden.

The deciduous Pear tree (Pyrus communis) naturally transforms with every season. In spring an abundance of white flowers blossom with a wonderful fragrance, they are loved by our honey bees.
