IN ANCIENT MYTHOLOGY THE WILD ROSE IS TREASURED AS A SYMBOL OF LOVE AND ADORATION.
This beautifully wrapped Wild Rose naturally transforms with every season. An abundance of fresh, green leaves unfurl from its prickly branches in spring. The sweet-scented, deep-pink roses blossom all summer long and are loved by our bees and butterflies. In autumn its bright red, fleshy hips ripen, they are wonderful for our garden birds.
When you place your order, a beautiful Wild Rose will be freshly selected by our devoted gardeners here, before being gift wrapped and placed in its luxury parcel.
An exclusively designed card with your personal message, the story of your Rose's ancient symbolism and a full care guide is also enclosed with your gift.
Add an engraved brass plaque (see images above) inscribed with your message so this special gift is always remembered.
Caring for your tree
This Wild Rose is growing in its organic pot filled with top-notch compost, so no green fingers are required, just natural daylight and water. We have added special nutrients to your Wild Rose’s compost to create the perfect balance of nourishment. This organic goodness will release into the soil for several months to ensure your Wild Rose continues to flourish.
In a few weeks, plant your Wild Rose bush, still in its organic pot, in a large flower pot (one with holes so excess water can drain away) or in a sunny spot in the garden.
Please note: In winter the leaves gradually change colour and fall. Your Wild Rose bush will remain dormant until the warmth of our spring sunshine encourages new buds and leaves to grow.
This Wild Rose is 35-45cm high, it is quite happy to be lightly pruned in winter and may reach a height of 2 metres in 5 years, if allowed to grow naturally.
